Turn ideas into real things.
Software, products, businesses, prototypes—I like taking something from an idea or problem to something people can actually use.
Jeremy Randall
I've spent more than two decades turning ideas and difficult problems into things people can actually use—from enterprise software and independent SaaS products to ecommerce businesses and physical products.
Now I use what I've learned building them to help others build theirs.

How I Work
Software, products, businesses, prototypes—I like taking something from an idea or problem to something people can actually use.
Building something is only the beginning. Customers, users, mistakes, data, and experience reveal what actually matters.
I use what I've learned from engineering, products, leadership, and business to help other people solve problems and build better things.
Things I've Built
Some became businesses. Some became software. Some became products. Some were experiments. All of them taught me something.

Creator / Software Engineer
A long-running tabletop RPG application built, maintained, and continually modernized over time.
Experience Behind the Work
Long before I started building my own software products and businesses, I was building production software for organizations with complex problems, large user bases, and real consequences when things didn't work.
Building and leading development of enterprise web applications supporting Department of Defense and National Science Foundation organizations, with hands-on work across Angular, TypeScript, ASP.NET, REST, SQL, Java, and technical leadership.
Progressed from research and development through architecture, engineering leadership, product direction, and stakeholder communication while building enterprise web applications used in more than 700 client deployments.
Mentorship & Community
Mentoring students in Java, robotics, sensors, autonomous behavior, debugging, collaborative problem solving, and the confidence to build.
Coaching players in fundamentals, teamwork, decision-making, confidence, and learning how to compete together.
What I've Learned
I write about the practical lessons that emerge from software, products, business, and the work of turning an idea into something real.
